Kings Head
The Need
Having invested heavily in the property over the years, and having been through a couple of hotel management companies, and a number of marketing agencies, The Kings Head in Cirencester was still not achieving anywhere near its full potential, and still playing second fiddle to hotels in the neighbouring town of Cheltenham.
The Solution
We conducted a heavy local PR campaign - based on bespoke events (including cinema club, comedy nights, pre-Cheltenham Festival racing events and more), which was coupled with a concentrated national press campaign.
The Results
Newly launched monthly cinema club & comedy club attracting an average of 80 guests per month
A Cheltenham preview event for the 2018 Festival attracted 142 guests and was talked about in The Racing Post, The Gaitpost, Horse & Hound and Horse & Countryside
Constant local coverage, and major National coverage too, in titles such as Brides, Daily & Sunday Express, Daily Mail, Luxury Lifestyle Magazine
